Meet Angela (and Bingo)

Introducing our Founder Angela and her hound Bingo. A Richmond resident, Angela has been active within the local dog community for years and you will often see her surrounded by pups at the local dog park. Angela has completed a Cert III in Dog Training & Behaviour, a Pet First Aid Course and volunteered at a local dog shelter. Angela is a true dog lover!

Meet Vince (and Evie)

Hi, I'm Vince! I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse with over 2 years experience working in a vet clinic before switching over to daycare. My future goal is to work in animal rehabilitation including hydrotherapy and remedial massage, which will help older dogs and also dogs with a variety of injuries or after surgeries. I also bring my dog Evie to work with me most days and I regularly dog sit.

Meet Holly (and Rumi)

Hi, I'm Holly! I'm 21 years old and currently have 3 beautiful fur babies, Bella, Hugo & Tully. I love my work more than anything in the world. I'm a nursing student looking to continue into medicine in the future.

Favourite HOTH dog/s: I have 3! Gomez, Macey and Jupiter!

Favourite thing about working in daycare: These dogs are our clients babies, they love them more than anything - to be able to contribute to the love and care that these dogs deserve is a privilege each and every day. I love keeping the puppies busy and safe - so they can all have the most fun possible!

Favourite food: Lady Dan's Chicken Pho - it HAS to be from Lady Dan!

Meet Zivannia (and Junebug)

Hi, I’m Zivannia, I have been working with dogs for 5 years and I started at HOTH in June. I have a vested interest in canine behaviour. This interest earned awards for both years of my VET course, and I am studying the Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing.

Favourite HOTH dog/s: I have a lot of favourites dogs but Ruby the Labrador and Junebug in my top favourites.

Favourite thing about working in daycare: Being able to interact with dogs, providing them with an enriching experience while they are here, giving them attention and of course FOOD.

Favourite food: A fun fact about me is, I genuinely don’t think I have a favourite food.

Meet Sofia (and Sadie)

Hi! I’m Sofia, a lifelong pet lover. Growing up in a home full of furry friends sparked my passion for understanding dog behaviour better. I'm studying to become a professional dog trainer because I love helping people and their dogs build stronger bonds through mutual understanding and better communication. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books on canine behaviour, watching arthouse movies, practicing yoga or going for a good hike.

Meet Haley (and Tex)

Hi, I'm Haley! I recently moved to Melbourne from the US. I live right around the corner from HOTH and passed by while the dogs were outside one day and knew I had to work there. I have loved meeting all of the doggy parents and getting the best advice and hacks for a first timer living in Melbourne. I also just recently adopted a dog named Tex, he’s an energetic boy that loves coming into work with me. He’s also made many besties at daycare too, which is one of my favourite parts about this job.

Favourite thing about working in daycare: Getting to expand my knowledge in dog behaviours and training, as well as bringing my own dog Tex into work with me

Favorite food: Donuts or Chocolate, I’ve also learned to love the Aussie staple meat pie.

Hi, I'm Eoin! I am a Kennel volunteer at Vision Australia and my goal is to foster care a Seeing Eye Dog.

Hi, I'm Josh. I was born in Sydney and raised in Tasmania. When not at HOTH, you can find me playing video games and running Dungeons and Dragons games.
